Regular Season Round 9: Prat Juventud - Clavijo 71-79

Very predictable result when third ranked Clavijo (7-1) beat on the road 8th ranked Prat Juventud (4-5) 79-71. The biggest contributor to a victory was American guard Matt Witt (183-84, college: E.Kentucky) with 19 points. Center Sidnei De Santana (215-83) helped with double-double 11 points and 11 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was former international guard Jaume Comas (186-74) who recorded 13 points and forward Marco Todorovic (199-92) added 8 points and 7 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players giving the chance to rest for starting five. Thanks to that win Clavijo become a new league leader, which they share with Mallorca and Promobys. Prat Juventud dropped to the ninth place with five games lost. Clavijo are looking forward to the next round to face Illescas (#13) on the road which should be an easy walk for them. Prat Juventud will play against Andorra (#4) hoping to prove their supporters that this time they can win.
