An interesting game was also a 31-point road defeat of 4th ranked Okinawa GK in a game versus Osaka Evessa (#3) 53-84 ending at the same time the series of three consecutive victories of Okinawa GK. The winners were led by American forward Lynn Washington (200-78, college: Indiana) who had that evening double-double 30 points and 15 rebounds and his countryman swingman William Knight (196-79, college: UCLA) who supported him with 15 points and 8 rebounds. Osaka Evessa's coach Ryan Blackwell allowed to play his deep bench players allowing starting five to get some rest. Even 14 points and 5 rebounds by American forward David Palmer (201-82, college: S.Utah) did not help to save the game for Okinawa GK. Osaka Evessa (8-4) jumped to the second spot. They share that position with Fukuoka Rizing. Okinawa GK dropped to the fourth place with 6-6 record. Osaka Evessa will meet next round Oita H.Devils (#6) on the road. Okinawa GK will play against Niigata Albirex hoping for a come back to a winning shape.
