And what about a derby match between two teams from Vilnius: Perlas-MRU (#9) and Akademija (#14). Despite it looked like an easy game for Perlas-MRU, those rules do not exist in derby games. It's more the case of honor for local supporters and such games have that special and unique approach you cannot find in other games. How else can you describe just two points victory of Perlas-MRU 84-82. It was a good game for guard Paulius Semaska (179-93) who led his team to a victory with 10 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists. Swingman Laurynas Jacevicius (193-88) contributed with 19 points for the winners. Swingman Rokas Jukonis (198-90) answered with 21 points and 7 rebounds and center Egidijus Mockevicius (204-92) added 14 points and 14 rebounds for Akademija. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Akademija lost their fourth game in a row. That victory allowed Perlas-MRU (7-8) to climb to eighth place. They share it with Nafta Universitetas. Akademija (4-11) on the other side took thirteenth position. Perlas-MRU's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Vilnius to the arena Akademija.
