Regular Season Round 16: LrNMKY - Porvoon Tarmo 84-87

Date: November 26, 2010
Very significant was Tarmo's (#12) 87-84 road victory against 11th ranked LrNMKY. The winners were led by American forward Jerrah Young (201-85, college: Toledo) who had that evening double-double 22 points and 12 rebounds and his countryman swingman Jonathan Heard (198-86) who supported him with 24 points and 9 rebounds. Young has also experience at Eurobasket Summer League, which is considered top summer league for international scouts. Even 33 points (!!!) and 6 assists by American guard Malik Moore (192-77, college: Amer.Internat.) did not help to save the game for LrNMKY. Despite the victory Tarmo (2-14) stay at twelfth position. LrNMKY (4-12) on the other side took tenth place as they recorded their twelfth loss. Tarmo's next round game will be against higher ranked Korihait (#4) at Uusikaupunki and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. LrNMKY will play at home against Namika Lahti (#9) to get back on winning track.
