Regular Season Round 12: TU/Rock - Tln Kalev 97-67

The most shocking disappointment of round 12 in EMKL was defeat of one of league's best team TTU/Kalev II. They were badly beaten on the road by second ranked TU/Rock 97-67. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Timo Eichfuss (200-88) who helped to win the game recording 17 points and 8 rebounds and former international forward Asko Paade (206-84) who added 17 points and 5 rebounds. The best for the losing side was forward Kiur Akenparg (190-88) with 15 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and former international forward Mooses Kaja (195-88) with 7 points and 8 rebounds (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!). TTU/Kalev II's coach Indrek Reinbok gave up on the game allowing to play 11 players and giving the chance to rest for starting five. TU/Rock (11-1) have an impressive series of eight victories in a row comparing to four consecutive losses by TTU/Kalev II. That victory allowed current champions TU/Rock (11-1) to take over a leadership position. TTU/Kalev II (4-9) on the other side went down to seventh place. But TTU/Kalev II have secured top position in the standings. Their last game will be against th-placed Parnu. But it will have no influence on who will win that stage. TU/Rock will try to continue on it's current victory especially that they will have a break next round at home.
