NBL round 7 most interesting game was a derby match between two teams from Sofia: Levski (#2) and Slavia (#6). Slavia was crushed at home by 43 points 52-95 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. It was a great evening for former international forward Radostina Dimitrova (185-85) who led her team to a victory with 27 points and 4 assists. Guard Stanislava Stankova (172-90) helped adding 17 points. Levski's coach Stefan Mihaylov felt such comfortable using 11 players and giving the chance to rest for starting five. At the losing side guard Zornitsa Naydenova (172-89) responded with 10 points and 4 assists and power forward Maria Rangelova (186-90) with 10 points and 7 rebounds. Despite the victory Levski (5-2) stay at second position having just four points less than leader Montana 2003. Seventh consecutive loss means that Slavia is still at the bottom of the standings. Levski are looking forward to the next round to face Beroe 07 (#5) in Stara Zagora. Slavia will play at home against Dunav hoping to get finally their first victory.
