Very significant was Leuven's (#7) just 1-point road victory against one of their biggest challengers Oostende 78-77. American guard Brandon Freeman (191-83, college: UALR) notched 21 points to lead the effort and Nigerian guard Adeola Dagunduro (196-86, college: Nebraska) accounted for 12 points and 8 rebounds. Even 19 points and 5 rebounds by American guard Matt Lojeski (198-85, college: Hawaii) did not help to save the game for Oostende. Leuven (3-5) has a solid series of three victories in a row. That victory allowed Leuven (3-5) to climb to sixth place. Oostende (4-5) on the other side went down to fifth position as they recorded their fifth loss.
