An interesting game was also tough home defeat of 13th ranked Olimpiada in a game versus Panerythraikos (#16) 71-72. The winners were led by power forward Panagiotis Karavanas (213-84) who had that evening double-double 15 points and 12 rebounds and Cypriot guard Andreas Sizopoulos (189-83) who supported him with 15 points and 6 rebounds. Panerythraikos' coach Dimitris Houhoulis allowed to play his deep bench players in such tough game. Even double-double 18 points and 11 rebounds by center Apost Koutroulias (206-76) did not help to save the game for Olimpiada. Panerythraikos (1-3) celebrated their first victory after three consecutive losses. They jumped to the eleventh spot. They share it with five other teams including defeated Olimpiada. Panerythraikos will meet next round higher ranked Lavrio (#4) on the road and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Olimpiada will play against AEK/Argous (#12).
