Charleroi's coach Giovanni Bozzi felt such comfortable that he used 11 players and giving the chance to rest for starting five. At the losing side American power forward Monwell Randle (203-83, college: SE Missouri St., agent: Side Court) responded with 14 points and 9 rebounds and former international guard Domien Loubry (186-85) with 14 points. That victory allowed current champions Charleroi (4-1) to climb to fourth place. Gent (2-6) on the other side went down to eighth position as they recorded their sixth loss. Charleroi are looking forward to the next round to face Verviers-Pep. (#7) on the road. Gent will play against Leuven hoping to prove their fans that this time they can win.
