Very expected game in Bereldange where 7th ranked Residence (3-7) was defeated by third ranked T71 (8-2) 77-61. American guard Denell Stephens (192-86, college: Slippery Rock, agent: Yossi Gayer) scored double-double 19 points and 12 rebounds to led the charge for the winners and former international power forward Frank Muller (196-88, college: Cuesta JC) helped with 15 points and 9 rebounds. At the losing side American forward Marcus Kennedy (193-84, college: Montevallo, agent: Anthony Hilliard) responded with double-double 22 points and 12 rebounds and international swingman Pitt Koster (178-89) with 21 points and 7 rebounds. T71 (8-2) has a solid series of three victories in a row. That victory allowed current champions T71 (8-2) to take over a leadership position. They share it with Sparta. Residence (3-7) on the other side went down to eighth place as they recorded their seventh loss. T71 are looking forward to the next round to face Amicale (#3) in Steinsel.
