Very significant was MIA Tbilisi's (#2) 90-86 home victory against Kutaisi. It allowed MIA Tbilisi to take over leadership position after TSU Tbilisi's loss. It also means that the series of two victories in a row of Kutaisi ended. Former international center Davit Imnadze (208-85) nailed double-double 11 points and 17 rebounds for the winning side and guard Besik Lezhava (193-86) accounted for 19 points. Guard Buba Berishvili (183-83) came up with 21 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists and forward Giorgi Barbakadze (203-91) added 16 points and 9 rebounds for Kutaisi in defeat.
