Regular Season Round 12: Asker Aliens - Tromso 92-81

The most shocking disappointment of round 12 in BLNO was road a defeat of 1st ranked Tromso to second ranked Asker 81-92. It was a key game for the second position in the league. Worth to mention a great performance of former international guard Mustafa Mahnin (182-80) who helped to win the game recording 31 points and 9 rebounds and former international forward Ronny Karlsen (202-78, college: Independence CC) who added 20 points and 8 rebounds. The best for the losing side was American swingman Ronald Timus (197-84, college: Morgan St.) with 26 points and his fellow American import forward Gerald January (201-88, college: Montevallo) scored 22 points and 8 rebounds. Despite the victory current champion Asker (8-3) stay at second position having just two points less than leader Tromso. This loss did not change Tromso's (9-2) top position in the standings as they recorded their second loss. Asker are looking forward to the next round to face Gimle (#5) in Bergen. Tromso will play at home against Kristiansand (#6) and are hoping to win this game.
