Very predictable result when second ranked CB Murcia (9-2) beat on the road 9th ranked Girona (5-6) 81-76. The best player for the winner was Brazilian center Vitor Faverani (211-88, agent: Herb Rudoy) who had 20 points and 8 rebounds. Forward Sergio Perez (206-79, agent: Luciano Capicchioni) helped with 16 points. Swingman David Navarro (192-83) produced 19 points and guard Ignacio Ordin (184-78) added 16 points and 5 rebounds for the hosts. Girona's coach Ricard Casas tried 10 players in such tough game.
