Regular Season Round 14: Oita H.Devils - Osaka Evessa 90-91

Another exciting game where second ranked Osaka Evessa (10-4) edged by one point 7th ranked Oita H.Devils (5-9) 91-90. The game was dominated by American players. Forward Lynn Washington (200-78, college: Indiana) saved the victory with 32 points. Swingman William Knight (196-79, college: UCLA) contributed with 19 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Osaka Evessa's coach Ryan Blackwell allowed to play his deep bench players in such tough game. Guard Matt Lottich (193-82, college: Stanford) replied with 33 points (!!!) and forward Taj Finger (203-86) added 25 points and 9 rebounds for Oita H.Devils. Osaka Evessa (10-4) has a solid series of three victories in a row comparing to four consecutive losses by Oita H.Devils. Thanks to that win Osaka Evessa become a new league leader, which they share with Shiga Lakestars. Oita H.Devils dropped to the fifth place with nine games lost. They share it with Miyazaki and Akita. Osaka Evessa's next round game will be against Fukuoka Rizing (#3) on the road. Oita H.Devils will have a break next round.
