Very expected game when 11th ranked Iraklis (2-4) lost on the road to fourth ranked Kavala (4-2) 79-65. It was a good game for American power forward Cedric Simmons (206-86, college: N.Carolina St.) who led his team to a victory with double-double 13 points and 18 rebounds. Belizean guard Milton Palacio (190-78, college: Colorado St.) contributed with 23 points and 4 assists for the winners. American guard Terrell Everett (193-84, college: Oklahoma, agent: Yossi Gayer) replied with 15 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and Lithuanian guard Arvydas Eitutavicius (188-82, college: his countryman) added 16 points and 5 assists for Iraklis. They added third loss to their record. Kavala jumped to the third spot. Iraklis keeps the eleventh position. They have the same record like Marousi. Kavala are looking forward to the next round to face Aris (#10) in Thessaloniki hoping to win another game. Iraklis will play at home against league's second-placed Panathinaikos hoping to prove their fans that they can break losing series.
