Date: November 30, 2010
Seventh-ranked Beer Yaakov had no problems in a home game against Elitzur Ramla (#12). Beer Yaakov (5-4) outscored Elitzur Ramla (2-7) with a record 34 points 117-83. The biggest contributor to a victory was American forward Jermaine Hall (196-80, college: Wagner) with 30 points. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Dror Davidi (190-84, agent: Arik Krayn) who recorded 19 points and American forward Keena Young (198-85, college: BYU) added 15 points and 4 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Elitzur Ramla lost their fifth game in a row. The victory allowed Beer Yaakov (5-4) to climb to fourth place. They share it with Lev Hasharon, Megido/Yokneam and Maccabi HBK. Elitzur Ramla (2-7) on the other side went down to the bottom position. Beer Yaakov will meet next round Hod Hasharon (#10) on the road which should be theoretically another easy game. Elitzur Ramla will play against Hapoel Tivon (#3) and are hoping for a come back to a winning shape.
