There was no surprise in Porvoon where 12th ranked Tarmo (2-15) was crushed by fourth ranked Korihait (10-7) 85-63. The game was dominated by American players. The best player for the winner was forward Lawrence Wright (195-84, college: Bradley) who had 27 points and 7 rebounds. Forward James Reaves (203-82, college: Niagara) chipped in 17 points and 6 rebounds. Swingman Jonathan Heard (198-86) produced double-double 21 points and 12 rebounds and guard Aubrey Conerly (182-83, college: Jacksonville) added 14 points for the hosts. Tarmo's coach Jouni Gronroos gave up on the game allowing to play 10 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Korihait (10-7) has a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintains fourth place. Newly promoted Tarmo keeps the bottom place with fifteen games lost. Korihait are looking forward to the next round to face Namika Lahti (#9) at home which should be theoretically another easy game. Tarmo will play against Kouvot hoping to prove their supporters that it was just an accident.
