The game in Findon was quite interesting. 5th ranked Townsville Crocodiles (10-7) played at the court of sixth ranked Adelaide 36ers (5-9). Adelaide 36ers defeated Townsville Crocodiles 92-79 on Friday. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Townsville Crocodiles. Adelaide 36ers made 17-of-22 free shots (77.3 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international forward Adam Ballinger (205-79, college: Michigan St.) who helped to win the game recording 18 points and 8 rebounds and center Daniel Johnson (212-88, college: Pepperdine) who added 14 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. The former international center Luke Schenscher (216-82, college: Georgia Tech, agency: Priority Sports) responded with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 12 rebounds and American guard Will Blalock (183-83, college: Iowa St., agency: Priority Sports) scored 15 points. Four Townsville Crocodiles players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players saving starting five for next games. Despite that victory Adelaide 36ers went down to seventh position due to points difference. Townsville Crocodiles at the other side dropped to the third place with seven games lost. Adelaide 36ers will meet higher ranked Wollongong Hawks (#5) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Townsville Crocodiles will play against Gold Coast Blaze in Broadbeach and hope to secure a win.
