An interesting game was also home defeat of 3rd ranked Fukuoka Rizing in a very close 2-point game versus second ranked Osaka Evessa 108-110 in Fukuoka ending at the same time the series of two consecutive victories of Fukuoka Rizing. It was a key game for the second position in the league. American players dominated also this game. It was an exceptional evening for swingman William Knight (196-79, college: UCLA) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 30 points and 16 rebounds and forward Lynn Washington (200-78, college: Indiana) accounted for 24 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. Swingman Michael Parker (200-81, college: Evergreen St.) came up with a double-double by scoring 38 points (!!!) and 15 rebounds and guard Nile Murry (193-83, college: TCU) added 27 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists respectively for Fukuoka Rizing in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Osaka Evessa (11-5) has a solid series of four victories in a row. They did not change their second position in the standings. Fukuoka Rizing keeps the third position with 10-6 record. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
