And finally the game worth to mention about is Shimane's easy win against second-best Sendai 89ers 82-67. It was a key game for the second position in the league. It was a good game for international guard Takumi Ishizaki (188-84) who led his team to a victory with 25 points and 6 rebounds. American forward Reggie Golson (201-81, college: SE Missouri St., agent: Side Court) contributed with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. American forward Michael Bell (206-82, college: Florida Atlantic) answered with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds and the other American import guard Mac Hopson (188-87, college: Idaho) added 20 points (made all of his ten free throws !!!) in the effort for Sendai 89ers. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed his starters a little rest for the next games. Sendai 89ers (7-8) added fourth loss to their record. Shimane (7-8) jumped to the second spot. They share the position with defeated Sendai 89ers. Shimane will face league's second-placed Sendai 89ers at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
