The game with biggest point difference took place in Nagoya where seventh ranked Mitsubishi (7-10) outscored lower ranked Tochigi Brex by 20 points 100-80. American forward Ron Hale (203-77, college: Florida St.) orchestrated the victory by scoring a double-double by scoring 31 points and 11 rebounds. The former international guard Kei Igarashi (180-80) contributed with 24 points and 7 assists for the winners. International guard Takuya Kawamura (193-86) answered with 22 points and American-Libyan power forward Randy Holcomb (204-79, college: San Diego St., agent: Greg Haenke) added 13 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Tochigi Brex. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed his starters a little rest for the next games. Thanks to that win Mitsubishi moved-up to sixth place which they share with defeated Tochigi Brex. Mitsubishi's will play against Tochigi Brex (#7) at home in the next round. Tochigi Brex will have a break next round.
