Bottom-ranked Trabzonspor managed to get a second victory, breaking the one-game losing streak. This time newly promoted Trabzonspor won against thirteenth-ranked Mersin 80-69. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Ali Karadeniz (203-80, college: Arizona) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 25 points and 15 rebounds (was perfect 11-for-11 from the free throw line !!!) and American-Nigerian forward Derrick Obasohan (199-81, college: Texas Arlington, agent: Misko Raznatovic) who added 18 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Four Trabzonspor players scored in double figures. responded with 29 points and scored a double-double by scoring 14 points and 15 rebounds. Mersin (1-7) added third loss to their record.
