Not a big story in a game when 14th ranked Saint Chamond (5-9) was defeated at home by ninth ranked Sorgues (8-6) 66-57. Serbian forward Slobodan Ocokoljic (204-80, college: Weber St.) orchestrated the victory by scoring 23 points and 7 rebounds. Center Xavier Pasut (200-84) contributed with 4 points and 15 rebounds for the winners. American forward Alain Laroche (198-83, college: N.Florida) replied with 11 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists and forward Regis Aubry (199-82) added 8 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Saint Chamond. The victory allowed Sorgues (8-6) who are in their first very successful season in the NM1 to climb to fifth place. They share it with Brest and Blois.
