Regular Season Round 13: Rapla - TTU 71-81

There was no surprise when 5th ranked Rapla (6-8) was defeated at home by third ranked TTU/Kalev (11-2) 81-71. American-DR Congolese forward Bambale Osby (203-86, college: Maryland) fired a double-double by scoring 22 points and 16 rebounds for the winners. Osby is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. . Forward Illimar Pilk (195-88) chipped in 18 points and 8 rebounds. Power forward Raido Ringmets (204-83) produced 24 points and forward Indrek Kajupank (197-88) added 9 points and 7 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed his starters a little rest for the next games. TTU/Kalev (11-2) have an impressive series of ten victories in a row. Thanks to that win TTU/Kalev moved-up to second place. Newly promoted Rapla keeps the fifth place with eight games lost. TTU/Kalev is looking forward to face league's leader TU/Rock in Tartu in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Rapla will have a break next round.
