Round 8 caused a major change at the very top of the standings. Second defeat of league's leader Armani MI against second ranked Montepaschi 67-99 was the most important game of the last round. . It was a key game for the top position in the league. American-FYR Macedonian guard Bo Lester McCalebb (183-85, college: New Orleans) orchestrated the victory by scoring 24 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Lithuanian guard Rimantas Kaukenas (193-77, college: Seton Hall) contributed with 18 points for the winners.
