Regular Season Round 8: Hapoel Holon - Hapoel J-M 76-65

Date: December 5, 2010
Another interesting game for Hapoel Holon (3-5) which hosted higher ranked Hapoel J-M (5-3). Eighth ranked Hapoel Holon had an easy defeat 76-65 ending at the same time the three-game winning streak of Hapoel J-M. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international forward Jamie Arnold (203-75, college: Wichita St., agent: Avi Zilberman) who helped to win the game recording 21 points and 6 rebounds and American guard Robert Hite (188-84, college: Miami (FL)) who added 17 points and 10 rebounds during the contest. Four Hapoel Holon players scored in double figures. Hapoel Holon's coach Danny Franco allowed to play his deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American forward Sam Clancy (201-80, college: USC) responded with 7 points and 14 rebounds and his fellow American import guard Jason Rich (191-86) scored 13 points. Hapoel Holon jumped to the seventh spot. They share the position with Elitzur Netanya. Hapoel J-M dropped to the second position. They have the same record like Galil Gilboa and Bnei Hasharon. Hapoel Holon's will play against higher ranked Maccabi Rishon (#6) at Rishon Le-Zion in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Hapoel J-M will play at home against Elitzur Netanya (#7) and hope to get back on the winning track.
