No shocking result in a game when second ranked Elitzur Yavne (7-3) defeated at home 8th ranked Kohav Yair (4-6) 108-92. Swingman Elad Hofman (192-85, agent: Arik Krayn) notched 34 points (!!!), 5 rebounds and 7 assists (made all of his eight free throws) to lead the effort and American guard Chad Timberlake (194-84, college: Fairleigh Dickinson) who supported him with 25 points and 4 assists. Even 20 points and 7 rebounds by American forward Eric Traimel (201-88, college: N.Texas) did not help to save the game for Kohav Yair. Guard Aviram Zelkovits (191-89) added 14 points and 7 rebounds for lost side. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Elitzur Yavne maintains second position having just three points less than leader Hapoel T-A. Kohav Yair at the other side dropped to the ninth place with six games lost.
