Another exciting game where fourteenth ranked Elitzur Ramla (3-7) edged by three points higher ranked Hapoel Tivon (6-4) 88-85. It was a big embarassment for the guest team. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Dror Davidi (190-84, agent: Arik Krayn) who helped to win the game recording 30 points and 5 rebounds. American forward Keena Young (198-85, college: BYU) contributed with 17 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Naturalized American forward Zach Evans (196-88, college: Bucknell) replied with 19 points and 7 rebounds and American swingman Tramaine Stevens (200-87, college: Morehead St.) added 22 points in the effort for Hapoel Tivon. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Thanks to that win Elitzur Ramla moved-up to twelfth place. Hapoel Tivon at the other side keeps the third position with four games lost. They share the position with Megido/Yokneam and Maccabi HBK. Elitzur Ramla's will play against league's leader Hapoel T-A in Tel-Aviv in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Hapoel Tivon will play at home against Hod Hasharon and hopes to get back on the winning track.
