Regular Season Round 10: Hamar - Snaefell 75-99

Express L. top team - Snaefell (9-1) had no problems winning another game on Thursday. This time they crushed fifth ranked Hamar (5-5) 99-75. The game without a history. Snaefell lead from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 19-of-21 free shots (90.5 percent) during the game. Snaefell looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists comparing to just 16 passes made by Hamar's players. American-Italian forward Ryan Amoroso (203-85, college: San Diego St.) had a double-double by scoring 38 points (!!!) and 11 rebounds (made all of his seven free throws) to led the charge for the winners and forward Jon Olafur Jonsson (199-81) chipped in 16 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. At the losing side American guard Andre Dabney (175-83, college: Bloomfield) responded with 19 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and swingman Darri Hilmarsson (191-87) scored 19 points and 5 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players seeing no chance for a win. Snaefell have an impressive seven-game winning streak. Current champion stay at first position. Hamar is currently in fifth place with a 5-5 record as they suffered their fifth loss. Snaefell is looking forward to face KR (#4) in Reykjavik in the next round. Hamar will play at home against Stjarnan and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
