Regular Season Round 10: Nilan Bisons - Huima 72-79

The most shocking disappointment of round 10 in the 1st Division was a home defeat of 5th ranked Loimaan Korikonkarit (5-4) to eighth ranked Aanekosken Huima (4-6) 72-79. Guard Treylon Manning (178, college: Texas Coll.) scored 25 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists to led the charge for the winners and Bahamas forward Jamal Douglas (201-85, college: E.Kentucky) chipped in 19 points and 15 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side American power forward J'son Stamper (200-85, college: Minnesota, agent: John Ebeling) responded with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 14 rebounds and his fellow American import guard Maurice Horton (183-84, college: Mount Olive) produced a double-double by scoring 11 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists. Four Loimaan Korikonkarit players scored in double figures. Despite the victory Aanekosken Huima stay at eighth position. Loimaan Korikonkarit who is 5-4 went down to sixth place as they suffered their fourth loss. Aanekosken Huima is looking forward to face Torpan Pojat (#10) in Helsinki in the next round. Loimaan Korikonkarit will play at home against Lahden NMKY (#12) in Lahti and is hoping to win this game.
