Another exciting game took place in Athens where third ranked KAOD (5-1) edged by one point 6th ranked Pagrati (3-3) 70-69. It also means that the series of three victories in a row of Pagrati ended. Pagrati was ahead by 7 points after three quarters before a 22-14 charge of KAOD, which allowed them to win the game. It was a good game for Montenegrin center Ljubo Jovanovic (206-87) who saved his team from a defeat with 20 points and 8 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field). Forward Vassili Kitsoulis (204-83) contributed with 10 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Four KAOD players scored in double figures. Guard Nikos Michalos (192-77) replied with 23 points and 9 rebounds and guard Fotis Vasilopoulos (187-86) added 24 points in the effort for Pagrati. Pagrati's coach Demetris Liogas rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. KAOD has a solid four-game winning streak. They become a new league leader. Pagrati at the other side dropped to the eighth place with three games lost. They share the position with Arkadikos. KAOD will play against Amyntas Dafnis (#11) in Athens in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Pagrati will play at home against the league's second-placed AGOR in Rethymno and hopes to get back on the winning track.
