Regular Season Round 12: Dijon - Clermont 76-60

Very expected game when 17th ranked Clermont (3-9) was defeated on the road by third ranked Dijon (9-3) 76-60 on Saturday. The game rather controlled by Dijon. Clermont managed to win fourth quarter 15-12. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Dijon forced 20 Clermont turnovers and outrebounded Clermont 39-28 including a 17-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Jeremy Leloup (202-87) who helped to win the game recording 14 points and 4 assists and American power forward Erroyl Bing (198-82, college: E.Carolina) who added 14 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. Four Dijon players scored in double figures. Dijon's coach Jean-Louis Borg used a eleven-player rotation seeing no chance for a win. The best for the losing side was naturalized Mali swingman Souarata Cisse (197-86) with 20 points and American swingman Dreke Bouldin (202-80, college: Fresno St.) scored 7 points and 8 rebounds. Dijon has a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 9-3 record having just one point less than leader Evreux. Loser Clermont dropped to the sixteenth place with nine games lost. They share the position with Charleville. Dijon will meet league's leader Evreux on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Clermont will play against Rouen (#6) and hope to secure a win.
