Premier League top team - Maccabi T-A (8-1) managed to deliver another win. This time they beat tenth ranked Maccabi Haifa (2-6) in Tel-Aviv 101-92. Maccabi T-A was already 20 points ahead at halftime and as many as 26 after three quarters before a 27-10 last quarter charge of Maccabi Haifa cut the lead to 101-92 at the end of the game. Maccabi T-A were unselfish on offense dishing 31 assists. It was a good game for Greek center Sofoklis Schortsanitis (206-85) who led his team to a victory with 20 points and 9 rebounds. International forward Lior Eliyahu (207-85, agency: ZAG Advocates) contributed with 12 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners.
