An interesting game was also road defeat of 4th ranked Akita Happinets in a game in Mikawa versus Hamamatsu Phoenix (#1) 67-79. American forward Jeffrey Parmer (203-85, college: Florida Atlantic) notched 16 points and 9 rebounds to lead the effort and British power forward Dzaflo Larkai (203-81, college: Bellarmine) who supported him with 15 points and 10 rebounds. Four Hamamatsu Phoenix players scored in double figures. Even 13 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists by American guard Sek Henry (193-87, college: Nebraska, agency: Impact Basketball) did not help to save the game for Akita Happinets. Nigerian forward Ayodokun Akingbade (207-84, college: George Washington) added 16 points and 5 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Hamamatsu Phoenix (17-1) have an impressive eight-game winning streak.
