We should not miss a road very close victory of eleventh ranked Vomero Napoli over 8th ranked Acer ERG Priolo 60-58. Despite only 2 points difference Vomero Napoli tried to control the game. But Acer ERG Priolo won second quarter 13-9. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The best player for the winners was Jamaican power forward Vanessa Gidden (193-85, college: Hofstra) who scored 12 points and 7 rebounds. Serbian forward Marija Micovic (187-82) chipped in 10 points. Romanian center Florina Pascalau (193-82) produced 15 points and 6 rebounds and Cuban forward Tania Seino (186-73) added 8 points and 9 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Vomero Napoli (2-6) jumped to the eighth spot. They share the position with Basket Parma and Priolo. Vomero Napoli's next round opponent will be bottom-ranked Pall.Pozzuoli (#12) on the road.
