Everything went according to plan when fourth ranked Maccabi Ramat Hen (7-3) beat at home 8th ranked Elitzur Holon (2-8) 83-73 on Monday. Maccabi Ramat Hen trailed by 5 points at the halftime before their 43-28 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Maccabi Ramat Hen made 16-of-20 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. Americans were the main players on the court. Guard Ivory Latta (168-84, college: N.Carolina, agency: 540 Sports) scored 28 points and 6 assists to led the charge for the winners and forward Tiffany Jackson (191-85, college: Texas) chipped in 14 points, 16 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. At the losing side guard Shannon Bobbitt (157-85, college: Tennessee) responded with 26 points and forward Kerri Gardin (186-84, college: Virginia Tech) produced a double-double by scoring 13 points and 16 rebounds. Four Maccabi Ramat Hen and five Elitzur Holon players scored in double figures. The victory allowed Maccabi Ramat Hen (7-3) to climb to the third place. They share it with Maccabi Ashdod. Elitzur Holon is currently in eighth position with a 2-8 record as they suffered their eighth loss. Maccabi Ramat Hen is looking forward to face league's leader Elitzur Ramla on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Elitzur Holon will play against Elitzur Rishon Le-Zion (#9) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
