Regular Season Round 10: Oslo Tigers - BC Asker 24-83

Bottom-ranked Oslo (0-9) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 24-83 loss to second ranked Asker/BV (9-0) in Oslo on Wednesday evening. The game without a history. Asker/BV lead from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Oslo to just 2 points in first quarter and to 7 points in first half. Asker/BV held Oslo to an opponent 23.9 percent shooting from the field compared to Asker/BV's 38.2 percent accuracy. They also forced 20 Oslo turnovers and outrebounded them 43-27 including a 23-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. International center Tina Nesse (184-84) had a double-double by scoring 23 points and 12 rebounds to led the charge for the winners and the former international forward Siri Andersen (180-78) chipped in 14 points during the contest. At the losing side guard Anab Ovidie responded with 10 points and forward Claire Brown scored 2 points and 5 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Asker/BV has a solid four-game winning streak. Defending champion become a new league leader. Newly promoted Oslo still closes the standings with nine games lost. Asker/BV will meet at home Ullern (#4) in the next round. Oslo will play against Gimle in Bergen and hopes to get finally their first victory.
