Very significant was Kalev/Cramo's (#2) 33-point home victory against 4th placed BC Rakvere 104-71. was very close to get their first win. But it seems they have to wait a little bit longer. The game rather controlled by Kalev/Cramo. BC Rakvere managed to win second quarter 23-22. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Kalev/Cramo outrebounded BC Rakvere 35-23 including a 27-12 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for Kalev/Cramo especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.6 percentage. BC Rakvere was plagued by 30 personal fouls down the stretch. It was an exceptional evening for the former international forward Rait Keerles (201-80) who led the winners and scored 16 points and 8 rebounds. International swingman Gregor Arbet (194-83) accounted for 17 points for the winning side. Four Kalev/Cramo players scored in double figures. Power forward Taavi Hamarsalu (199-89) came up with 16 points and Canadian-Jamaican forward Richard Anderson (199-77, college: Simon Fraser) added 7 points and 6 rebounds respectively for BC Rakvere in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Kalev/Cramo (13-2) have an impressive series of six victories in a row. Despite the win they stay at second position having just one point less than leader TU/Rock. BC Rakvere is currently in fourth place with a 8-6 record as they suffered their sixth loss. Kalev/Cramo's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Tallinn to the arena TTU/Kalev.
