Leader KTP-Basket delivered the seventeenth victory. This time they crushed 10th ranked Salon Vilpas (4-16) 106-81 in Kotka. The game without a history. KTP-Basket lead from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. The winners were led by Canadian forward Sefton Barrett (196-83, college: Cent.Michigan, agency: Limelight Hoops) who scored that evening 29 points and 9 rebounds and American forward Jerald Fields (201-82, college: E.Tenn.St., agency: Lanshire Group) who supported him with 20 points and 8 rebounds. Even a double-double of 30 points and 24 rebounds by American forward Nicchaeus Doaks (202-87, college: Chattanooga, agency: Hart Sports Mngm) did not help to save the game for Salon Vilpas. Nigerian guard Nick Okorie (185-88, college: Texas Tech) added 11 points and 7 assists for the guests. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. KTP-Basket maintains first position with 17-3 record. Salon Vilpas lost sixth consecutive game. They dropped to the eleventh place with sixteen games lost. KTP-Basket's next round opponent will be LrNMKY (#10) in Lappeenranta and are hoping to win another game. Salon Vilpas will play at home against UU-Korihait in Uusikaupunki.
