Sixth ranked Stjarnan (6-5) crushed at home 5th ranked Hamar (5-6) by 21 points 83-62, which is the biggest margin this round on Thursday night. The game rather controlled by Stjarnan. Hamar managed to win fourth quarter 22-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Stjarnan forced 20 Hamar turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Stjarnan made 7 blocks. Worth to mention a quality performance of American guard Justin Shouse (180-81, college: Mercyhurst) who helped to win the game recording 21 points and 6 rebounds.
