Regular Season Round 14: Leon - Lobe Huesca 84-75

Date: December 18, 2010
No shocking result in a game when fifth ranked Baloncesto Leon (10-4) defeated at home 14th ranked Lobe Huesca (5-9) 84-75 on Saturday. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Lobe Huesca won fourth quarter 24-23. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Baloncesto Leon made 7 blocks. The best player for the winners was American forward Kahiem Seawright (203-86, college: Rhode Island, agency: Impact Basketball) who had a double-double by scoring 15 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). American-Dominican guard Emmanuel Quezada (188-85, college: USF) chipped in 20 points. Four Baloncesto Leon players scored in double figures. Forward Asier Zengotitabengoa (201-88) produced 24 points and forward Javier Salson (199-82, college: Bloomfield) added 12 points respectively for the guests. Lobe Huesca's coach tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Baloncesto Leon moved-up to third place. Lobe Huesca lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the thirteenth position with nine games lost. Baloncesto Leon will face Caceres 2016 (#5) on the road in the next round.
