Very predictable result when fifth ranked Lagun Aro GBC (7-5) defeated on the road 17th ranked CB Granada (3-9) 75-68. The guests were ahead by 10 points but lost the second period ending it with a 2-point deficit before their 26-17 run, which allowed them to win the game. It was a good game for the former international center Albert Miralles (208-82, agency: Interperformances) who led his team to a victory with 16 points and 8 rebounds. Center David Doblas (206-81) contributed with 18 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. American forward Robert Kurz (206-85, college: Notre Dame, agency: Priority Sports) replied with 9 points and 13 rebounds and Russian swingman Yaroslav Korolev (206-87) added 14 points and 6 rebounds (went 9 for 9 at the free throw line !!!) in the effort for CB Granada.
