No shocking result in a game in Aanekoski where eighth ranked Aanekosken Huima (5-6) defeated 10th ranked Torpan Pojat (3-8) 93-87 on Sunday. The hosts trailed by 4 points at the halftime before their 29-14 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game. It was a great evening for American forward Nathan Wilson (200-85, college: S.Wesleyan) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 16 rebounds. Guard Treylon Manning (178, college: Texas Coll.) helped adding 21 points and 8 assists. Guard Pyry Rainamaa (194-90) responded with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 11 rebounds and forward Vesa Linturi (195-83) scored 21 points and 9 rebounds. Five Aanekosken Huima and four Torpan Pojat players scored in double figures. Torpan Pojat's coach tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Aanekosken Huima moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Ura Basket. Torpan Pojat lost sixth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the tenth position with eight games lost. They share it with Kerava ET. Aanekosken Huima will meet at home Saynatsalon Riento (#9) in the next round. Torpan Pojat will play against Lahden NMKY in Lahti and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
