Fastweb CM (#3) forced the game against Snaidero Udine (#2) into an overtime, but lost by one point 79-80 on Sunday night. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Fastweb CM. The hosts were tied at the half and again at the end of regular time. But they managed to win overtime period 13-12. Snaidero Udine shot 33 for 44 from the free-throw line, while Fastweb CM only scored nine points from the stripe. Snaidero Udine forced 25 Fastweb CM turnovers. 33 personal fouls committed by Fastweb CM helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was the former international forward Luigi Dordei (202-81) who had a double-double by scoring 20 points and 11 rebounds.
