Regular Season Round 15: BI SSA Gdynia - Lider Pruszkow 63-69

No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Lider Pruszkow (9-5) defeated on the road 7th ranked Lotos Gdynia (7-7) 69-63 on Sunday. Lotos Gdynia was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. The game was dominated by American players. It was a great evening for guard Adrianne Ross (173-84, college: TCU) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists. Forward Bernice Mosby (186-84, college: Baylor) helped adding 17 points and 9 rebounds. The best for the losing side was forward Monica Wright (180-88, college: Virginia, agency: LBM Management) with 15 points and 7 rebounds and forward Sandora Irvin (191-82, college: TCU) scored 8 points and 8 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Lider Pruszkow maintains fourth place with 9-5 record. Lotos Gdynia lost their third straight game in a row. Defending champion keeps the seventh position with seven games lost. Lider Pruszkow will meet at home Inea AZS (#10) in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Lotos Gdynia will play against Widzew in Lodz and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
