Pall.Pozzuoli has finally registered their first victory this season after eight consecutive loses. The win is especially important as it came on the road game in Napoli, where they defeated Vomero Napoli (2-7) 60-56. The guests were tied after three quarters but managed to speed up in last quarter eventually winning the game. American guard Tamecka Dixon (176-75, college: Kansas, agency: Merit Sports) nailed 22 points for the winning side and guard Giulia Gatti (172-89, agency: LBM Management) accounted for 10 points and 6 rebounds. Four Pall.Pozzuoli players scored in double figures. Jamaican power forward Vanessa Gidden (193-85, college: Hofstra) came up with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 16 rebounds and Serbian guard Milica Micovic (182-84) added 7 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Vomero Napoli in the defeat.
