There was a small surprise when eleventh ranked Ironi Ramat Gan (5-7) defeated on the road 8th ranked Kohav Yair (5-7) 87-80. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Kohav Yair won third quarter 23-21. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Ironi Ramat Gan won last quarter 28-23. It was a good game for American guard Armon Bassett (188-86, college: Ohio) who led his team to a victory with 18 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists.
