No shocking result in a game in Urumqi where leader Xinjiang Flying Tige (4-0) defeated 6th ranked Guandong Tigers (3-2) 97-88 on Wednesday. The hosts trailed by 8 points at the halftime before their 58-41 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Xinjiang Flying Tige made 31-of-36 free shots (86.1 percent) during the game. Montenegrin-American guard Quincy Douby (191-84, college: Rutgers) stepped up and scored 38 points (!!!) and 7 rebounds for the winners and American forward James Singleton (203-81, college: Murray St.) chipped in 17 points and 11 rebounds.
