Adelaide 36ers (#6) forced the game against Townsville Crocodiles (#5) into an overtime, but lost by two points 97-99 on Thursday night. The game took place in Findon. But the guests from Wulguru were better at the end. The guests trailed by 3 points after three quarters before their 26-23 charge, which allowed them to tie the game at the end of regular time and get a 2-point victory in overtime. Townsville Crocodiles dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Adelaide 36ers' 38. Townsville Crocodiles looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. 28 personal fouls committed by Adelaide 36ers helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities.
