We should mention about the upset which took place in Pesaro, where higher ranked Scavolini Pesaro (6-5) lost at home to tenth ranked Fabi Shoes Montegranaro (5-6) 73-78 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 3 points at the halftime before their 24-14 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game. Fabi Shoes Montegranaro made 19-of-24 free shots (79.2 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was American power forward Sharrod Ford (206-82, college: Clemson, agency: Pro One Sports) who scored 15 points, 5 rebounds and 4 blocks. His fellow American import guard Allan Ray (188-84, college: Villanova) chipped in 14 points and 5 rebounds.
